Our cardiothoracic program offers the latest techniques in coronary artery bypass, valve repair or replacement and adult congenital procedures. Newer procedures are also currently available for lung surgery. The cardiothoracic team offers over 22 years of experience and an accumulation of over 7,000 cardiac surgeries performed and boasts an outcome performance that has been better than the national average on a yearly basis for the past seven years. The St. James cardiothoracic team takes great pride in its work as reflected by the quality of our program. Our affiliated surgeons are all board certified, are highly experienced and are supported by dedicated surgical teams.

Vascular Surgery

Our vascular surgery team offers surgical expertise in the treatment of a wide variety of peripheral vascular disorders.

• Carotid endarterectomy/stenting
• Lower extremity revascularization by minimally invasive treatment and open surgery
• Aortic reconstruction by minimally invasive endovascular treatment and open surgery, including:
  • Aneurysms (infrarenal, suprarenal and thoracoabdominal)
